Christmas `09.
Hello! Christmas went well and everything hasn`t faded away my head just yet. I`m sure my Christmas isn`t over yet.
On
Christmas eve, we went to
Simbang Gabi. The entrance was just
mindblowing. There were children younger than me and a few just about my age that were part of the entrance. I saw one person who I`m familiar with. I never met her, but I`m certain she`s in my batch. I think she`s from Kahel?
After attending the one hour mass, we dropped by Starbucks, then we headed home. It took a while for my mom to prepare
Noche Buena so my brothers, dad and I just stayed in the chilly third floor balcony doing random things.
When the food was ready, we went downstairs to the first floor. The food was
yummy. We had lasagna and bread. Yes, just a meal that
simple became our Noche Buena.
Next, we waited for a couple of moments and my mom and Kuya went downstairs with
shopping bags on their hands. Inside them were our
gifts. We
sorted them out first before we opened them.
For some weird reason, our television was tuned in
GMA 7. I think it was because my dad was watching TV.
I only got around
four or five gifts. Even though it was few, they were worth so much that I could
never trade them in for anything!
Some of my favorite gifts I received were
shirts, an original
LeSportsac bag and a
hamburger speaker. The favorite shirts I got were the two Knoller shirts from the
Perfect White Shirt. It came from my mom and dad. My mom knew that I wanted one badly. So (deep down inside me,) I super appreciate my mom`s trouble into finding the shop where they sell them. When I grow up, I`m sure to go as far as I can to get my mom something she wants as bad as I wanted the shirts.
Then came
Christmas day.
My
relatives from my
mom`s side came over, as usual. Most of my family members were seated outside in the
decent dining room that is reserved for guests only, while my little brother and I were stuck inside the
usual everyday dining room. We ate barbecue with rice, and I ate a little bit of liempo too. It was
undoubtfully delicious.
I got the
usual gifts that day: Blouse, a journal, and money. I also got a planner, although I`d still be using it for 2011. I already have a 2010 planner (All Hail, Starbucks.)
For dinner, it was the same. My little brother and I had to stay in the usual dining room. We ate
Mac and Cheese. I love it.
After that, I just stayed in
my room, quietly using my beloved (lol) computer, alone, because it was too
boring downstairs. I didn`t bother to say goodbye to my relatives, and I don`t know why.
Last night (December 28), my mom came home with a
loot of gifts. I got a cap and a shirt that makes me look American.
Despite these, my Christmas
isn`t over yet. I`m waiting for someone to come along. Actually, not only someone, but a
bunch of people.
The friends I`ve had ever since. I hope they come along. If they do, I`ll keep this
updated. c;
(to be honest, I didn`t feel the Christmas spirit this year. I`m still hoping for them ^ to visit so that my Christmas would be complete.)
