FIELD TRIP.

That picture right there is a glimpse of Mount Samat in Bataan. Before I skip to that part, I`d answer your question: What does this have to do with anything?
Well, it was my field trip last week (Feb 5). And it was awesome.
Well, our household helper woke me up, saying, "Uy, 5:30 na!" I was like, WEHH, TIGNAN MO, O. 4:00 PA LANG. The argument between us was pretty long, so I decided to take a bath instead.
My dad usually brings me to my field trips. However, I don`t know why my mom came along with us that chilly morning. They just came to drop me off.
When we arrived there, I was a bit confused. "Which bus was mine?" I wasn`t comfortable going around awkwardly looking for my bus, because I might overlook Bus 6 (Lila), but I had to. I gave my farewells to my parents and looked for my bus. Suddenly, I remembered the time when it was my grade 4 field trip. I went on the wrong bus, actually! My section was Masinop, and when I went up the bus, I saw people dressed in red. I was in Mapagmahal`s bus! I left right away. Ah, memories. But it didn`t happen yesterday.
Our first stop was a public school in Lubao, Pampanga. We had to read a story to them. We had to take care of first graders, and most first grader's stories have both Filipino translations and English translations. However, I didn`t bring one with both translations. I brought my favorite book when I was little: The Pied Piper of Hamelin. I spent 5 minutes reading them the story until the ending. And then they told me they didn`t understand English. I don`t blame them, but it`s just that they`re very shy! I always wondered if I was THAT quiet when I was in grade 1. So I took the risk of translating it to tagalog. I was horrible. I didn`t know the tagalog translations of some words like, "pipe" and "followed". I know, I suck. I made it though anyway and got at least one student understand the story. The other one was probably just focused on the pictures, I can`t force her to concentrate on the story.
We left the school, eventually. And headed for Mount Samat.
It was a fun ride up there, even though one of our classmates was getting a bit nauseous at the back.
Before climbing up the mountain, we ate lunch at the bus. I only ate half a sandwich. My lunch was tuna sandwich. And the people in my house know I like it with lettuce. But I guess the lettuce turned black already, so I decided not to eat it, to be safe.
After lunch, we went up the mountain. It turns out our field trip was the same time and venue as another school. I believe it was San Augustin College or something similar.
We went hiking up the 14 or so flight of stairs. It was fun the way there! It`s so amusing to see the heights and some other MC students way back down at the bottom.
Our stayed at the top for 30 minutes or 1 hour. I had the best time ever there. There were a couple of big boulders of rocks there and we could sit there. I miss that rock, though. We took loads of photos there. We were just talking about random stuff there and Kuya Jay/J (our tour guide) shared with some volleyball strategies for our Intrams the following week.
It was unfortunately time for us to go back down. We just wanted to stay there! But we couldn`t. It was seriously time to hike down. It was so funny the way down. Because I overheard Sherrie and Chamille pretending to be tour guides. Sherrie said, "If you look to your right, it is the opposite of your left!"
When we got back down, we went to a museum. At first, I thought it would be very fun. But I realized that the museum was about a war or something here in the Philippines before. And mark my words: I almost failed in AP when we were learning about history including a few world wars and a few personal wars.
It was a total soundtrip during the trip back to Manila. We listened to Justin Bieber and Ke$ha songs, but I do not know why we didn`t watch any other dvd. I kind of fell asleep when Justin songs played, then I woke up feeling half deaf. I don`t know why, though.
You know the song, 'One Time'? Well, if you don`t you should. JK. But when it played, I was singing it, though I seriously hate the song already.
When we had our pit stop SOMEWHERE (idk where it was), I guess I could hear perfectly again. I really needed to go to the bathroom, since the bathroom in Mount Samat needed 3 pesos (oh, i`m so stupid I didn`t accept the money my mom offered to me that morning). But at least I could go already at that time. After that, instead of running, we just walked. I waited for Liana while she bought a shake. Some other people bought Ice Cream, floats, etc. I am so jealous. ~_~ I COULD HAVE MONEY, BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO. I HAD TO RELY ON MYSELF, BUT I FORGOT I MADE WRONG DECISIONS. lol.
Anyway, after the pit stop, we still kept listening to Ke$ha and JB songs. We kind of played with Liana`s Magic Love Ball. We kept on asking random mushy questions about everyone in our class. We kept saying, "OMG." "Wooooooaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh" "hahahaha!".
We arrived back in MC around 5:30. It said in the guide given to us before the Field Trip that we were supposed to arrive at 6. I didn`t argue though. I wasn`t comfortable with Nikki and Liana at first. When they both left, I NEEDED someone to be with. I`m still paranoid with the scary Miriam stories my friend has experienced already.
So I decided to go with Steffi and Ann. Then Anaya joined us. I`m really happy I`m with them. They`re practically the only people I seriously trust with my life. Well, I`m not SUPER close with Steffi, though I know a lot about her just by chatting with her before. They said, while I was all fun all day, they weren`t having the best time of their lives, exactly. They said Miss Luque was KJ, but then again, it`s their opinions.
Sam joins in. When she was about to tell a story, I saw my brother going near the gate to fetch me.
That night, 5 minutes after eating, I fell asleep without even changing. I slept with my jogging pants and PE shirt. =))
